Terms of Sale
Terms that apply to purchases of printed books and e-books through
the official bookstore “Books by Dr. Borko Djordjevic”.

1. Seller information
The seller is AMERICAN HOSPITAL FOR PLASTIC SURGERY, Stražnik br. 12, Podi,

2. Products
The bookstore offers selected printed books and e-books by Dr. Borko Djordjevic.
Printed books are physical products. E-books are digital products delivered as PDF files
or through digital download access after payment confirmation.
Product descriptions, images and availability are provided in good faith. Minor differences in cover display,
image presentation or formatting may occur depending on the device, screen, edition or file format.
3. Orders
An order is placed when the customer completes the checkout process.
The seller reserves the right to refuse, cancel or delay an order if:
- payment is not received or confirmed;
- customer information is incomplete or incorrect;
- the product is unavailable;
- there is a technical or pricing error;
- the order appears fraudulent or abusive;
- delivery cannot reasonably be completed to the provided address.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be contacted using the email address provided during checkout.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are displayed on the website. Payment is currently available by bank transfer.
Orders are processed after payment confirmation. The customer should use the order number as payment reference
whenever possible.
5. Printed book delivery
Printed books can be shipped internationally.
Delivery time and shipping cost depend on the destination country, courier or postal service,
customs procedures and other delivery conditions.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
The customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or local fees in the destination country.
6. E-book delivery
E-books are delivered digitally after payment confirmation.
By purchasing an e-book, the customer requests digital delivery after payment confirmation and understands
that the e-book may become available as a download link or PDF file.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct email address and for keeping the downloaded e-book secure.
7. Returns and refunds for printed books
If a printed book arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, the customer should contact the bookstore as soon
as possible at books@surgeontothestars.org.
The message should include the order number, customer name, delivery address and photos showing the problem.
Returns or replacements may be approved depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Printed books must be returned in appropriate condition unless the return is related to damage, defect
or seller error.
8. Digital products and refunds
E-books are digital products.
Once the e-book file or download access has been provided after payment confirmation, the order is generally
considered final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the digital file is defective
and cannot be accessed.
If there is a technical problem with an e-book download, the customer should contact
books@surgeontothestars.org.
The seller may provide a new download link or another reasonable solution.
9. Copyright and e-book licence
All books, e-books, texts, covers, images, titles and related materials sold or displayed on this website
are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
The purchase of an e-book does not transfer copyright or intellectual property rights to the customer.
The customer receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the purchased
digital copy for private use only.
The customer is not allowed to:
- copy, reproduce or scan the e-book;
- upload, publish, share or distribute the e-book;
- send the e-book to other persons, groups or organizations;
- post the e-book on websites, social media, forums, messaging applications, file-sharing services or cloud folders;
- resell, rent, lend, sublicense or commercially exploit the e-book;
- modify, translate, adapt or create derivative works from the e-book;
- remove copyright notices, author information, watermarks, metadata or digital protection;
- make the e-book publicly available in any form.
Any unauthorized sharing, copying or distribution of an e-book may result in cancellation of access,
refusal of future orders and legal action to protect the author’s rights.
10. Use of medical and professional content
Some books may contain professional, medical, legal, historical or personal commentary.
The content is provided for educational, literary, professional or informational purposes.
Nothing on this website or in the books should be understood as personal medical advice, legal advice
or a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.
11. Limitation of liability
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services, customs procedures,
incorrect customer information, email delivery problems, technical issues outside the seller’s control
or misuse of purchased products by the customer.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
